Hi, I am Jesenia and I am so glad you stopped by our blog!

I am a city girl from New York’s Washington Heights.  I still reside in New York City with my husband of 25+ years and our adorable Shih-Poo, Nori.  Prior to being a Wife, God gave me the honor of becoming a Mom to a baby girl that is now an adult but still keeps me on my toes.  While my passion is writing, I have an established career with a multinational investment bank/financial services company. Somewhere along the lines between being a mom, a wife, and managing a career, I graduated from New York University with honors. It has been quite a journey, but it is just beginning!

Manhattan Bible Church is my home church, where I coordinate and serve the Angel Tree Program alongside of my husband and Prison Fellowship.

Fun fact about me – I am obsessed with the Lioness; she is a majestic leader, fierce, brave, and strong.  The Lioness hunts to provide for her family and she is a survivor. She takes care of her lion, her cubs, her pride.  That Lioness is me!
